Years ago, I made a 3D rosary, and placed each bead manually. Today, I was thinking that it would be easy to simply create a bezier curve, make one spherical bead, and then apply an array modifier and a curve modifier to that bead (pointing to the curve) to make a nice chain of beads that follows the curve. When I do this, however, I notice that the beads slightly warp as they go around corners (so they’re not exactly sphere anymore). Is there a way to make the sphere mesh not deform as it follow the curve?
Maybe I’m go about this the wrong way?
