Thanks a lot to everyone for crits on my new forum, Visual Artist Forums. Thanks to the admins of Blender Artists for their understanding of it. VA is by no means a competitor of Blender Artists Forums. I can say that because I am the admin of it! Of course, VA needs some more Blenderites. And so, what better place to direct some more folks to the forum than here? I already picked up some people and they’re enjoying it just fine. HOWEVER >> Visual Artist Forums would like to keep to young artists, instead of professionals. I’ve noticed that most forums are directed towards the more experienced artists out there, and I wanted to give younger artists a place to show their artwork. So
Just a quick note; It took me about two minutes to see the >> Enter Forums << link, due to the fact that you placed it directly over an image, killing visibility in process. I almost closed the page down before I even had a chance to look at the forum.
Anyway, I don’t mind about the advertising really, as you say that you’re aiming at a more inexperienced audience. Lets just hope the mods see it that way too, eh?
