Asset Models

This will just be a running thread for various assets I’m working on and releasing on http://www.blendswap.com/ and/or http://opengameart.org/ (as I’ve grown to deeply appreciate both of these sites and those that work hard to run and maintain them). Models I release are (almost always unless otherwise stated) released under CC-BY-SA 3.0. Works I do I choose to do for others that may not be released CC may still be displayed here for feedback (thought this will likely be reserved for the open models I do). Constructive feedback is welcomed. Requests will be considered and balanced with my other projects (noting above license, but not always restricted to that). This thread will allow me to present efforts without extensively intruding into the threads of others.

Here’s a noob shield for players starting out. Mesh is manifold but not solid (as that would have created more vertices then necessary; in other words it’s a single object but floating mesh). 120 Vertices, 204 Edges, and 102 faces. 1024x1024 Diffuse, Normal, Specular, and AO map (which can be further reduced to 512x512 if necessary).

Maps included (Diffuse, Normal and Specular) are all 1024×1024 jpg and can be rescaled to suit specific needs (game models maybe want to scale them to 512×512).

Base mesh is manifold and has 106 vertices, 216 edges and 112 faces.
This one could be a bit better, but it angered me… I hope to see someone set it on fire :evilgrin:

Crate looks fine to me.
