For the past few months, I have been working intensively on developing a board game called ‘Astro Chess’. The aim is to release the game in 2027. A physical prototype of the game already exists. I am currently working on programming an electronic version of it in Unity/C#.
I created the physical game board – or rather, the game mat – using Blender’s Grease Pencil.
The game pieces that I first designed and printed in PLA turned out to be too big and too clunky.
That is why I have created smaller game pieces with appropriate attributes.
PLA is environmentally friendly, but I can’t manage anything better than prototype quality.
The game pieces are about 3 cm tall.
