ati mobility x700 driver 7.4 atioglxx.dll vista

Finally i got it working well! So happy now. Anyway I tried to implement several different Ati’s and Nvidia’s .dll libraries, but non of those make my blender work fine. Finally today I downloaded new ati catalyst version 7.4 and now my blender runs smooth as silk :wink:

  1. Download ati 7.4 driver pack from ati
  2. Run it and package will expand files into given place
  3. run prompt (run->cmd)
  4. locate atioglxx.dl_ file (default location)
    (C:\ATI\SUPPORT\7-4_vista32_dd_ccc_enu_44985\Packages\Drivers\Display\LH_INF)
  5. type "expand atioglxx.dl_ atioglxx.dll
  6. Copy this file to your blender main directory.

My setup is:

A64 3200+ (2Ghz)
Ati Mobility Radeon X700 128MB
Vista Ultimate, aero
Windows driver file is 7.14.10.8333 (25.8.2006) WDDM

Hopefully this helps one with a problems like slow splash, slow menus and etc.
