Attached color doesn't appear in the scene

I imported a .fbx file into Blender. Its color is gray, and when I specify a color for the object, that color appears in the render but is not attached to the object in the worksheet

Also please tell me how can I give the object a whole gold effect

Not sure what you mean by the ‘worksheet’, but in the image you posted your viewport shading is set to solid. This shows monochrome only unless objects specifically have colours set for the viewport. Change shading to Material or Rendered (the two buttons to the right of the Solid one) - just above the word Options at the top of the viewport

Click on this highlighted button and your problem will be fixed

Sadly I didn’t remember viewport and inevitably I used worksheet. Sometimes I forget a simple technical word because of visiting many pages in the internet and also working with different software including Rhino and Blender with hundreds terms and commands.

excuse me for this wrong

It worked!

many thanks

But you didn’t enlighten me how can I create a gold effect that seems real?

Should I use this viewport?

What is the usage of this mode?

The View mod as in Render is what you see as a final product. if you are not happy with your outcome in the render scene you might have to add some more nodes to the texture in the Shader Editor menu.
This is a part of Blender I am not really super comfortable with so I usually follow different tutorials on youtube since it’s to many things for my brain to remember all at once, it’s a good way of getting the understanding and makes it easier in the future to play around with when you are more familiar with it.

For me, as today I have found it more useful to subscribe to Adobe Substance Painter, since i find that way easier to deal with but, the node system is not really difficult when you get the hang of it

in case you are interested in a tutorial, this is what I found with a quick search for “Blender Gold Texture”

i might have miss understood your question and if so i am sorry but i did my best haha! :see_no_evil:

Thank you for the explanations

Due to a network problem I neither can access YiuTube nor could watch the tutorial here.

I have worked with nodes a little. I think it is similar to grasshopper in Rhino.

Anyhow, I think I have to go back to nodes and see how can I go close to the gold material.
This work is easy in Rhino, though its default engine is not sufficient to create a perfect appearance of gold or Chrome, especially on the flat surfaces and the users usually use another render engine for a better result.
