Eset antivirus considers this website so risky that it literally forbids me access. This began yesterday. I have to turn Eset off in order to access the site. I have no idea what is going on here. It’s obviously not BA. Not sure how many Eset users are on BA either, but it might be something to look into. It gives me a big red box saying “FORBIDDEN!!”. Perhaps someone reported BA as having a terrible virus? Not sure what’s going on.
We got a few seperate threads about this now.
Goofster is already lookin into it.
I noticed that after I posted, and then posted on the other thread. Sorry, should have looked first.
What I’ve seen in the past (and no, I never solved the cause), but some forum systems at the end of their index.php file would get a few lines of “junk”. The lines aren’t part of the original install but are some exploit in the php scripts themselves and the access levels. At any rate, the added lines are what flag the virus scanners. One site I used to be responsible for, I would remove those lines and all would be fine, but those lines would return again.
Anyways, just a quick check to use WinMerge (or something) and run a compare on the original forum install to what currently exists on the server to verify no files have been compromised.

further discussion and updates will be in this thread: http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=204040&p=1751131&viewfull=1#post1751131
See my last remark in that thread.
