Audi A1 with Luxrender

Hi!
After a long time for a new project. I sing up new car. (Audi A1).
The model was made in Blender 2.5, rendered by Luxrender about 10-12 hours, but still, unfortunately, granular.:frowning: I hope you’ll like it.

That’s very good congratulations

very realistic

I hope one day I’ll get there

That really is a bloody gorgeous model! I agree the grains look a little off in the cockpit area but everwhere else the granular effect actualy looks sort of cool for this perticular image. Really very, very well done my friend

Thankyou!
The next will be better:)

Very nice model and quite a nice render. Some people might find it a pain waiting for the hi-res png link on image shack, converting it to hi quality jpeg would make the file size a good bit smaller and you wouldn’t really notice any difference in the quality.

Whoa dude! That is sweet!

Thank you all!
I prefer PNG format.

Hey! Iron, are you using LuxBlend 2.5?

I tried installing it in Blender 2.54 Beta, but unfortuantely I couldn’t see the LuxBlend in the User Preference.

Tahseen: I gave precise instructions in this post here
http://blenderartists.org/forum/showpost.php?p=1704370&postcount=5

Make sure you followed these exactly (including getting the latest available revision of Luxblend from the Mercurial page and the latest Luxrender build from the forum) or something may not work (like Luxrender showing up in the top menu)

Really cool man, nice job.

Iron,

Thanks. Worked

Thank you!
I use Luxrender 0.7 with 2.49 Blender,but 2.5 jus modelling:)

Hey! Iron,

What’s your modelling method at the points where the parts meet? As in how you give that effect at that place?

Do you extrude each part towards the inside?

Hy tahseen!
My method extrude inside and new edge cut(2).What effect do you think?
Yes, always extrude!!!

I will soon make a video tutorial!

sweet!
i like the lux grains. for me they just sort of add something distinct bout it

What do you mean by “new edge cut(2)” ?
I too use extrude but hood and side body creates problem when the shape is little curved

You can use Jing tool to create a video. It is a great tool to make video tutorial. I would love to see how you make various parts

I liked the way you made the head lights. And type / rim / brake discs are awesome

Bevel edge always, will be the 2 edge.
I’m using Linux, but the Jing just Windows,Mac supporting.
What do you offer Linux?(recordmydesktop slowly)

Thankyou!!

very cool. that luxrender render really looks really realistic (really).

nice choice of background.

It’s look nice, awesome work.

Congratulations.
