Audi A8 W12 6.0

Hi,

The car is an audi A8 W12 6.0 quattro 2006.
I’m using hdri for the first time.
Its focused crit because I haven’t seen this car in real life before but I still like it :smiley:
So I need help with reference.

The rims are probably not exactly like the Audi A8 W12 but I still like them as they are so I’m keeping them.I might change the tyre thread though.
I’ll also need help with the front grill.
The headlights and backlights I’ll definately need help with.
Oh and on the first render I set the plane too high and it looks like a flat tire:p

I have only one crit: Your car is casting two shadows…U have to fix this…But I’m assuming that isn’t a permanent lightsetup…

you mentioned HDRI image based lighting but it looks like you are not using it correctly, other than that, the model looks good.

@mpan3 I kind of figured that out already…and I did mention its my 1st try.How do I use it correctly?
And if I have hdri can I use lamps?

@Art Ye I know about that.I’m thinking maybe I shouldnt use HDRI but I do want to learn how to use it

would you mind putting the mirror modifier first in the modifier stack…it’ll probably get rid of that big straight line in da middle…:wink:

I put mine to object instead of angmap and on map to selected all blend hori zenup and zendo

Ok,Heres the deal.I’m getting bored of the audi A8.I still want to do an audi model badly.Any suggestions on which audi to do?
