Audi TT - studio shot

An Audi TT I’m working on. Or actually; I’m having a break with it so it’s not totally finished, but it will probably take a while before I finish it. So I thought I would show it:

Hope you like it. C&C are appriciated.
Rendered with Yafray.

weeheee!! nice!
but, as you said, it is still incomplete… the front window and the windscreen don’t seem to fit that well… and the windscreen lacks a rubber border.
Else it’s real cool!

Nice clean model and render. There are a couple of things to tweak, but looking good so far.

Sonix.

Looks very clean. I have one comment that hasn’t been made; you can look though the car above the front wheel.

Can I see a wire, non subdiv?

if anything to work on in thte future, dont forget to do someything about the mud covers. I can clearly see light shinning through in the center and my brain tells me thats the back end visible through there. thus, being a hollow car  . (the same thing for the grill.

that is going to look freakin amazing! one small thing i noticed is…i dont know if its JPG artifacts, but there seems to be some jaggies on the far edges…is that due to a low OSA factor?

wow, look axactly like the real car!
but i have 1 crit: the front light don’t reflect. in real life thats just a little bit transparant plastic, with no reflections at all.

tip: try to make the ‘rims’ bigger, like hip hop style!( i don’t know if you all like that)

They don’t seem to be JPG-artifacts. Are you using raytracing? If not, try enabling the “full OSA” button in the material of the car. For raytracing this is not needed, because it does that automaticly. And of course, you can always crank up the OSA level.

Do you mean there should be no reflection? Well, actually, it should be transparant and reflective. You need to find a good balance.

I don’t think it’s possible to simulate reality completely though, because glass can both be very reflective and very transparent, depending on the amount of light in the room behind and in front of it. If using a ramp to generate an alpha based on the amount of light it receives on one side is possible, then you might be able to do it, but I don’t think ramps can do that.

I really like that - it should come out great!

That’s the neons in the wheel arch

Someone mentioned the wheel arches but also the grill because there would be a radiator in there. I love the modelling and the tyre material looks great. I like the tinted windows but not on the lights. Overall, great job. That’s the kind of car that needs a scantily clad female lying on the bonnet ;).

Thanks for all the comments. There’s alot of great idears till if I start working on it again. But as I said, I’m kind of having a break.
