Can anyone point me to a good tutorial on audio encoding? No matter what I choose when rendering my animation, it doesn’t seem to want to play sound. There are so many types of video encoders and audio encoders, I have no idea which one(s) work together and are supported.
The sound file I’m trying to get to play is a .wav file.
I have the same problem, but your post needs more info. Are you not hearing sound in Blender? Or not hearing sound a player that plays the blender file?
So, I can hear the sound in blender with importing a MP3 or WAV format. I can hear the sound when I transfer the file (h.264 w/ MP3) into a flash drive and play on a computer with VLC or Windows media player. But, if I take this file and burn it to DVD with Windows 7 app I cannot hear sound when played back on a DVD player. I have also tried importing sound as WAV format with the same results as first.
Here’s the BIG question. How can I get a WAV format choice in Blender? Currently I have 7… PCM, FLAC,Vorbis, AAC, AC3, MP3, Mp2.
When I choose MP2, i get an error message “invalid number of channels 6, must be <=2”
How do I turn channels down to 2?
Using Blender V 2.67b, Windows 7
