Hello.
It’s quite easy to split, cut sound files or videos in the video sequence editor
Can we play these sequences in the blender game engine ?
Why do I want to do this?
Well, I could use blender in classrooms with my students (music lessons) as a elearning software, if the above is possible (modern presentation software do not permit audio cropping, or their price are really too high.)
Thank you, Oto.
I already use the video texture script.
But this script plays a whole video: I cannot choose to play from second 10 to 29 for exemple.
What I try to do is playing music parts inside a music file.
Example: the end, the introduction, the ostinato, etc, and I only use one wav or ogg file.
This way, I dont not use hundreds of files.
And as it’s quite easy to cut (virtually) an audio file in the sequencer editor, can I use that splitting in the game engine ?
I had a look at pygame, but there is nothing in it to choose the start and en time in a music file.
