Hey guys, I decided to start this thread in order to find out if there are any audiophiles on this forum. So, if you are one write down your setup (headphones, DAC/AMPs, audio cards etc…) and optionaly, what you listen to when you do your work in Blender. I’ll start…

-Asus Xonar DG runing UNi Xonar Drivers with latest Alexa mod and 7.1 virtual speaker shifter config.
-AKG K242 HD

It’s not much I know, had a pretty tight budget for my first setup.

-Listening to soundtracks, preferably from Sci-fi movies/series, some Lounge, Liquid Funk, D&B, Nu-Jazz (not New Jazz, that is rubbish) clasical Jazz, Downtempo, ambient, glitch-hop, electronic, trip-hop, Chillout, etc…

A couple of Polk RTI 10 towers with a Polk 100 watt Sub with matched Polk bookshelves and center channel, and an Onkyo TX-SR601 A/V amp pushing them. My taste in music lies with mainly older stuff. Blues and Rock from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. But that’s just because I grew up during the days of headbands and hippies. Clapton’s a favorite and on that note, I’ll be modeling his Ferrari SP12 EC.
