With Blender 2.78a, it seems that Auto IK no longer works; if it’s on and I attempt to drag a bone around, Blender immediately exits. I hope this is being looked at?
Ah yeah. I actually found that on a search, but since I couldn’t find anything on the forum itself I thought I’d make some noise here; I wasn’t sure if the same people hung around on both sites, nor if I could have said anything there anyway, since I’m not a dev. But again, I just wanted some assurance that it would be addressed, and when the next stable build with it fixed would be out.
try the latest build for your system from here, some of these builds were compiled today , see if the problem is still happening on the latest build - https://builder.blender.org/download/
I’ve never like to try “nightly builds”; again, I was hoping to have this patched in the next official release, say 2.78b or something. In this case, I suppose I’ll have to make an exception until that time comes.
