Auto Keying won't work for me

Checking Auto Keying and playing on the timeline removes all ability to move / rotate / anything… I’ve searched high and low for a fix and I’m slightly worried my Blender is poorly!

I also have a somewhat intermittent problem with the graph editor not showing handles for my animation curves. Any help would be amazing!

Hey Walter - thanks for the feedback… what I’m trying / unable to do is hit the ‘play’ button and THEN move / rotate etc while the timeline is active / playhead is moving.

I should’ve been clearer! - It works for me like it does in your demo already… it’s only when playing it ceases to work properly!

Yeah, that’s exactly how it should work… but if you watch the video - you’ll see when I hit ‘play’ it disables the move tool.

okay!

instead you have to press g (hotkey translation, r rotate, s scale)to get/activate the translation

and you should add 50 images to the end of your scene just in case,
so that you can stop the capture before it starts again.
