Auto-Rig Pro deforming mesh

Hello
I am using Auto Rig Pro to rig my model, and for the most part, it works fine, but the legs stick together all the time. I checked the weight paints, manually painted them myself, and they always deform and stick to each other, no matter which binding method i use. I applied the Sub Surf modifier as well, but the thighs, legs, still stick together

THis is what happens when its binded through heatmaps, or any of the voxel options. Even with that other addon.

Here is the blend file: https://www.mediafire.com/file/jrj2e9sbckgnrtf/PaulRetopo52+Sculpt+Adjust+26+Ready+to+Rig+Leg+issue.blend/file

I have had weighting issues with Auto-Rig Pro that originated from the scale of the object not being within the optimal range. Your person should be just about 5 and a half to 6 feet tall when you rig it. And be sure to apply scale first. I hope that solves your issue.

The model is to scale, about 5’7”

I did apply all transformations also, before binding. Should I have done this before I even starting marking the rig?

I’m not sure, but it sounds like a good guess.

Yes, for sure. I can very clearly see scale issues in your screenshots- your thigh controllers are gigantic, your knee poles are nowhere close to where they should be

Ok, I’ll give that try later after work. I didn’t think the controllers were that big, in the screenshots I’m zoomed in a bit. But I’ll definitely give it a shot and report back here as soon as I can

Though the scale was already applied, i did scale down the thigh bones after i placed the markers and thats what solved the issue! Thank you!
