This render isn’t using the auto smoothing I’ve set it for. The angle should be 22.5. What should I fix?
Also, check for any custom split normals.
How do u do that?
Select the object, go to the geometry tab, under “geometry data”, if there are custom normals, you’ll see “clear custom split normals Data”. Click that button, if it shows “add custom normals”, then the object doesn’t have any. Also check you haven’t “split” the faces manually, select everything and then Alt+M pull up the vertex menu, select merge by distance.
