Automatic Weights not Selecting the Thumbs of my Character

I need help with getting the parent model to take a bone rig fully. Everything works besides the thumbs of the model I have made. I have been researching on it but can’t find any reason for it to do so. Could some one take a look at this to see what I am doing wrong with this model?

I was able to resolve the issue be removing the Thumb and re-adding a new Thumb. It looks like there may have been multiple points that were keeping the mesh from moving.
