Automating Bake Sound to FCurve with a sequencial High and Low value.

I am trying to create a Music Visualization scene and I have 160 different bars. I am trying to automate this script so that each time it loops, the high and low values go up by 50, which in the end, should end up with a high value of 8k. Another way than just letting it blindly sequence numbers, is multiplying 50 by the selected object number for the low and 50+50 times the object number for the high. I am wondering how to do either or both of the two solutions above.
