Autosave in Blender 4.2 not turning off

I’ve been having issues with 4.2’s autosave feature. It keeps trying to autosave the file I’m working in even though I don’t want it to. I’ve turned it off, and it still keeps wanting to autosave when I can just save normally when I make a change. Or when I don’t want to save, it still decides to save on its own (after I turned it off, of course)

Is there a way to stop this permanently? Because the preferences option isn’t working.

File saving doesn’t seem to be the default feature of the blender. :thinking:
Check the Addon list to see if you are using Addon.

What addon would that be, by the way?
