“skying” is actually a different version of soccer…
It has only one rule:
You either grab the opponents players…
or kick them from behind…
and try to throw them as high as you can… The one who “skyies” the opponent higher, scores a goal…
But that’s after you avoid the cows… :-?
It’s a very tough sport… Tougher than American football… it’s only for “Men”…

I went skiing once in Japan, Mt. Appi (I think that’s the spelling). I’m suprised I came back alive. It was a Navy trip (dad was stationed at Misawa AB). Two of the petty officers that worked with him were excellent skiiers, and convinced us to take a lift all the way to the top with them. I think one was from Colorado, and the other from Utah. I could barely keep myself upright along the trail, and every now and then I’d see them cross in front of me, jumping out from the woods, then into them on the other side, lol.

Forgot to mention… I’m from south Alabama, on the Gulf coast, with a river right in front of my house… snow skiing gives me problems, but put me behind a boat, and I’m not too bad. Though, it’s been a while, I may be rusty, but I doubt I will be by the end of this summer.
