awesome animation by wakyak

please view this awesome video done in blender + octane

could anybody guess how to make the effect of collisioning everything from 0:57 forward? what is the workflow in blender to do this ?

i mean how to make the cubes when touching the chairs, the tables, etc to move as pushed by the cubes ?

A lot of physics are involved in this video. Normally, if you applied the same tactic with a water simulation, you can get the same result. Try looking for fluid simulation with Blender on Google and you can get an idea there. Also, to compensate on the boxes, use a particle system or dupliverts.I don’t really know the process on how it’s done. But there are some clues on finding your answer. One more thing. This question is better asked in the Animation section of the other part of the forums. This is a part of the forums for uploaded and complete animations or Work in progress animations.

Use the game engine to record the physics of the cubes colliding. Fluids and particles can’t interact with other objects like that.

Well, I was close…

A-MA-ZING!!!
Until the cubes started flying around I was convinced that you walked around the office with your camera - it was that realistic! Simulation was also very realistic, so top notch stuff there! Hollywood quality! Me likes!

Wow… Was that video done in Blender? 99% of the office looked real, just the coffee cups and the first single chair shown in the scene looked out of scale or something… But wow.
