Awesome Free Flash Tool: Powerbullet Presenter

I made a pretty decent flash webpage ( just a test I didn’t put it up ) within minutes of downloading this thing. It doesn’t appear to be as versatile as Flash MX which I am still trying to get used to, but it is comparatively very user friendly. Anyway, i still have to fool with it a bit to see what it can really do, but if it does no more than I have already done with it, ( and I know it does plenty more ) I will be very happy with it. I can see myself making many web pages and tutorials with this, in combination with my other favorite programs.

AWESOME!!! it works really well. thanks

just of note,…while i was out looking i noticed another one that resembled flash mx in terms of the keyframe animation style, and the layers. it looked a bit like a clone of flash mx actually. I wish I remembered the name, but since i already have flash mx i didn’t bother with it. but just so you know, there is such a free tool out there.

I’ve been fooling with this now for awhile, and what i found was that the animation is more flexible than i originally thought. what you have to do is write your own animation documents. there is a chapter in the help files on how they are organized, and if you want, you can just copy one from the ‘animation’<edit> (<–sorry this should read the ‘keyframes’ folder) folder within the powerbullet directory, change the extension to .txt, rewrite it, change the extension back to the original and give it another name, and plop it back into the animation folder. then the next time you open the program, it will be included in you animation options.

cool, i’ll try that

…correction: the folder that the files go in, is called ‘keyframes’. ( sorry! )
<edit> here’s my attempt at a walk cycle lol,…pretty crude but you can fool with the parameters.

Thanks Modron. I had actually downloaded it a couple of months ago, and then for some reason I dont remember I deleted it. While searching over my computer again for Powerbullet, I did find something very interesting.

I found a free Flash creation thing, that I had forgotten about, that allows keyframing animation. I am not exactly sure how, I didnt use it that much, but here it is.

http://www.liveswif.com

The full program cost money, but LiveSwif Lite is free.

Also, I found another program I had forgotten about.

http://www.3dfa.com

It has a trial version and then a $50 dollar cost, It also has keyframing and the ability to create scripts.
