Thanks for posting this, it looks very functional and I like that it’s cross-platform.
I can’t get it running here though. The application makes my laptop screen turn off and it becomes unresponsive. I’m on windows 7 and the log is happy with my OpenGL version so no idea what’s behind this. Best to post a bug report I think.
BaRe, earlier today the website worked for me, but now I get the same purple hosting website as in your screenshot. It says it went over the CPU limit or something along those lines.
I think we overloaded the poor guy’s website…Maybe he didn’t expect it to get so much traffic.XD It’s still available from GitHub though. You can still download it from here: https://github.com/kmkolasinski/AwesomeBump/releases/
So, what do you expect from crazybump or this excellent application.
I’m a little confused. I visited many threads, pre baking normal maps… I wonder though. How you gonna use them avoiding the well expected issues.
Hi, there!
I’am the AB author. The AB website is really down due to large daily traffic I think tomorrow everything will work fine.
There was a question about OSX version: We still have a problem with OSX systems. Apple is far behind with recent openGL versions support in comparison to other platforms, which causes plenty of problems.
There is a repository where some job have been done in this field: https://github.com/ppiecuch/AwesomeBump
I don’t have access to computer with OSX, so any help from osx users is appreciated.
For those who have managed to run it, can you tell us how it is different from Crazybump?
Aren’t there people reviewing apps anymore, or they just leave with links? My impression will always be, if you’re not going to make any comments about your link, why bother?
There should be rules here that if you post a link, it should be accompanied with your personal comments. Otherwise, don’t bother posting it. It’s just spam.
