Axis Angle and revolutions

Is it normal in Axis Angle that you cannot define a single rotation consisting of several revolutions using the 3D rotation manipulator?

With Eulers you definitely can do it.

With quaternions you can’t, but it completely makes sense.

However, there is no reason why you cannot revolve using a 3D manipulator with Axis Angle.

Is it a Blender bug?
