@yakuzakazuya would love your input on this project. @Blender10der Glad you did! Day2:
More sculpt and start of retopo.
not happy with the lips will fix tomorrow.
Thank you. I didn’t attach ear in sculpt cause blender on my pc could not handle more then 3.5m tris so I worked on lower res in ears + worked on face while isolated so it I never go over budget.
for the ear retopo I’ll add and attach them tomorrow.
Edit: also planning to to another sculpt on top of retopo and bake the sculpt to maps.
There is one thing that pop up when I look at the retopo mesh. Even on the poly level (regardless weather you’re doing additional sculpting on top) I’d personally try to put a bit more anatomical detail into the nose. Here’s what I’m thinking:
Well I could go and sculpt the perfectly shaped smooth ear but as watching many many models, differences in ears makes some models very interesting in my opinion. I think it’s like nose. You could go for perfect smooth semi anime nose or go for a more blocky nose that makes the face more interesting and not dull.
But in general yes the ears needs a bit of love.
Thanks for the comment.
I thought doing eyes was easy… well I must guess again!
ok this needs a lot of work. need to look at more reference.
the point that eyes are3 open skin tends to fold. I have a bit of problem modeling that…
Should I apply mirror at this point (because of shapekeys?)
I see what you’re going for, but look at reference of ‘unique’ ears like Nikki Lauda (extreme example), the ear of this model is just not correct; especially the earlobe is just to flat and planar
