This is my first time using UDIMs. Once I got the hang of them another door has been opened up for me. I still have a long way to go before I truly have them figured out. I first blocked out this model using Nomad Sculpt. I am starting to develop a workflow and just find it much easier to start my sculpts that way. I did most of the painting using Krita on multiple different layers. I tend to directly texture my models and find that I can achieve a much higher level of detail manually (not to mention I rather enjoy it). This was rendered using cycles. Everything else, of course was done with Blender. I hope that you enjoy it! Happy Holidays, everybody!
Finalized pose with experimentation using subsurface scattering throughout the wing membranes.
Raw high poly sculpt.
