Hey guys!
Well just before REALLY starting on my EON project (if I ever finish on time eh!) I decided to make this little mech just for fun.
C&C are very welcome!
Here’s the concept sketch for it. It was made by Andrew Ley

I like it, but I’m not a real expert on mechs, so I don’t really have much to contribute.

Model looks good with alot of detail. How are you getting that grainy render? It adds character to the picture.

Tx guys, and yes the Ambiant Occlusion give the grainy feel. I’m using 8 samples…it’s mostly due to the fact that I don’t want it to take too long to render…but since you like it maybe I’ll keep it for the final. I’ll see what’s best. But a grainy render might work better for what I’m going for anyway.
Here’s a small update
Feet + a couple of others details

You just gotta love ley’s concepts. ^^
Quite some liberties taken on this one. Very good work none the less. =)

Really cool, you have a great attention to detail! At first I actually thought these were Indigo renders because of the grain. Your light setup is nice too.

You could try and make the arms/gun bigger, they look a bit small compared to the other body parts. But the model is really nice otherwise.

i think it would be neat to see your order of operation for this model… or atleast how you went around making it in general…
as for the model it could use some long bouncy antennea ( robot hair) on the back of the head… and maybe take a 3/4 angle camera shot from the opposite side looking in front but slightly above pointing down ?

I also noticed the robot doesn’t have any ammunition boxes, if it is using bullets that is
