b file and autosave

i’m using Vista and got a nasty problem

since a few weeks ----
i g cannot save with Ctrl-U - its give and error that it cannot erase the existing file
and also i saw that the autosave function does not save files anymore and it’s on
so can someone help me with this little saving problems

CTRL-U is safe user defaults…

Can you manually delete the b.blend file in the .blender folder? Check to see what user Blender is running under. It may be getting only basic user permissions.

Ctrl-u - yap i cannot save my user settings ?
that;s kind of bothering a bit

can you give me this precise name so i can find it
and is thre another path to select to save this file and how - where to change it ?

i thingi’v got a.b.blend in .blender under blender forge
but not certiai if it is the right one?

i remove the b file then tried to save with Ctrl-u and it is nt working
othre problem come up

i don’t know may be i shold isntall blender into a normal folder and see what happen instead of the program foleder - vista seems to be protecting that folder a lot
