Can someone explain if there is a way to speed up Blender when woking with background image
when you zoom up blender seems to slow down
more zoom and the more it slow down
anyway to change this slow speed:evilgrin:

Have the same problem. It is the ATI openGL driver that does not work as good as u would hope.
Have you tried the new RC build? My blender 2.42a is alot slower than the new RC build. But the RC build is not as stable as the 2.42a build. My blender works great now with the RC build.
The only thing is that when u zoom out the resolution goes down but it’s ok as u get to work with a faster blender
