I’m having trouble getting my reference image to load up into the Blender background.

I go into properties, check add background image, load up the image I need, and nothing. It just won’t do it. Blender version is 2.5(6?); latest version. Can anyone possible tell me what I’m doing wrong?

Make sure you are in Orthographic view mode. Toggle between orthographic and perspective with Numpad5
