Hello,
I find it very strange to work with background/reference pictures in blender 2.8…
I want to see the blueprint outlines all the time in specific views but dont want to turn on xray for the whole scene because that makes the mesh transparent too.
How can I make the blueprints to be shown on top of every mesh but not get hidden under the mesh.
Just like in 2.7
Pls help
You need to see the image “Through” the mesh correct?
So are you importing the image as a background or as a reference image?
I would use a REFERENCE IMAGE as it is applied to an empty…Then you can control the empty without affecting the mesh…though the mesh will still be semi-Transparent to see your reference.
Check Use Alpha and you can control the transparency with the slider…
" Make sure to be in the correct view when adding a Reference Image or it will be skewed on the x,y,z axis"
