I want to add a background to my scene, I can add a backdrop that is visible of sorts in a render, how can I have it in the viewport as well?
Does it rely on a flat plane with a texture added to that plane, what is involved in getting a panorama into the viewport and render.
I find the best way is using the compositor. Add - Input - image
Compositer? thats a way bit too advanced for me at this stage, all nodey things.
I`m used to Anim8or, I just click Scene,Settings, Image and select one, up it pops.
ok- in user preferences - addons, tick import images as planes, then file - import - Images as planes, select your backdrop and you’re done.
