It’s awesome to see the new system has Two Factor Authentication YAY! 
I was wondering if this system supports Two Factor Authentication backup codes as well as i could not find them in the settings? Backup codes have saved me a few times with other services 
And to the BA Team Awesome job on the website
Doesn’t seem like they do at this time no. But this feature has been recently developed; I’m sure it’ll be added.
I asked about it here:
If i was to lose my 2 factor authentication codes, would i be locked out of my account or does the i forgot my password bypass the hole system? Do you know?

By the way, the Discourse team already replied (fast!) - backup codes are on the roadmap for the 2.1 release. I’m not sure how far out that still is though.
Awesome! It was not a big deal, i just wanted to know if i was missing a big red button that said enable backups 
And as you said i always have you and the BA Team, help if i really messup

That’s the huge advantage of discourse - seeing messages and notifications in real time. It REALLY speeds up the conversation 
I had to update my phone OS. I lost the two factor authentication account 
Anyway I can get the account back to use for this site

Sorry for the late reply. I checked, but your account does not have 2FA enabled.
Update: you can now find 2FA backup codes in your account preferences under the 2FA settings.
My main account does, can’t log in with it bc lost the two factor account link
