You mean , what happens if the character moves on Z axis in wordSpace ? Well it’s true that everything in this thread comes out of a X,Y plane . So whilst X,Y are continuous, for the Z Axis you can discrete the problem into stacking textures and making a moving average when moving along Z (climbing stairs, ladders or falling down)

But at that time, i was just using a height map , so now, i gonna be able to add to that the light vector aspect … which will look amazing and the material setup is so easy !
