Hey everyone!
So, i’ve finished my model. I’ve got my materials. And now I want to bake my materials out to textures, but if I bake the normal map, I just get a flat map without any normals. I googled my problem and came across this awnser: https://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?348799-Baking-Cycles-Procedural-Normals-to-Texture
I wondered, since the post is a bit dated, if there are quicker/more efficient ways to bake procedural normal maps.
-Edit-
While baking I also encountered another problem. How do I bake a specular map in cycles? by this i mean a black&white mask that shows which part of the model is shiny and which part isn’t.
When I bake a gloss map in cycles, this is my result (don’t pay attention to the grainyness):
This result isn’t the map that I’m looking for, can anyone help me?
