Instead of creating an entire scene in blender, I’d like to bake most of my environment onto a singular HDRI map that I can then plug back into the scene.

Yes change camera lens type to panoramic and save render as .exr

It just depends on where you place your camera. (in the example above, the camera is placed on the floor plane, so some clipping is happening).
Ohh… the question was about the blue plane with the “pyramid” ?
I think SSL was refering to the piece of background that’s visible through the plane.
But how do I make the camera do a 360 panorama for an accurate HDRI?
