baking a .dll texture for export

I’m trying to bake a material texture made using a .dll library to a UV map for use with Yafaray. When I go to bake settings and click texture, it bakes the material color to the texture, but not the thread patternt created by the .dll. Any suggestions?

For me it works well. Can you see texture when rendering in internal? What is that .dll plugin and what settings for texture?

It shows up fine in the internal renderer, and if I try to bake from render instead of texture it works, but that’s not what I’m looking for. The plugin is r_weave.dll, the texture is set to a normal map, and it’s UV mapped.

You cannot bake procedural texture applied to Normal channel only. Apply it to Color channel, bake texure and then apply output picture as bump map to Normal channel.
