Baking Ambient Occlusion doesn't make the correct image

I’m doing a tutorial here: http://cgcookie.com/blender/2013/02/01/creating-grassy-outdoor-scene-blender-part-2/#!prettyPhoto I think I followed the directions correctly, but when I bake the ball, my image doesn’t come out like it should. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

The face normals of the stitching are pointing the wrong way. Select the faces and W / Flip Normals

Thanks so much. Worked beautifully. He actually went through a whole explanation of the normals, but it was in reference to the ball, not the stitches. Hopefully, I’ll remember what you said if I come across this problem again.
