baking constrained animation to bones

Hi all,

I am an amateur when it comes to armatures;) and I have no idea how make the influence of constraints on an armature permanent.

I have imported a bvh file as a set of empties, constrained my current mesh armature to the empties, and now I would like to make these actions permanent so that I can further refine the action via the armature. It is worth pointing out when I hit “I->Insert Loc,Rot” the bone IPO’s remain a flat line.

I have tried a “Bake Active Action” script, which is broken, and a “Bake Constraints” script which crashes in object mode and runs in Pose mode but fails to bake anything but a straight line(Armature was selected before running scripts).

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated
