Here the baking displacement tutorial for Blender 2.79 since the tutorials i saw were missing some important information’s to get a decent displacement map.
Also i like to make gif tutorials since they are lightweight and anyone can download them and they take no space on your hard drive + they are handy quick references and they never get deleted like Youtube videos.
