Baking high to low poly with disconnected meshes

Hi there,

I’m working on a game model of a hydrant and I want to bake the normal map of the high poly onto the low poly model. I’m having issues with the bolts baking correctly since they are not connected to the rest of the model. Is there some way to connect the bolts to the model in a way that works with the multires modifier and without messing up the shading around the bolts? Or is there some way to bake from 2 high poly to 2 low poly models? Or is there some other way to do this?
