Baking Mat Cap to the UVEditor Window

Hi Guys
After watching a few (very good) videos on Glossy Materials I was wondering if it is possible to get the Mat Cap texture as seen in the 3D viewport to appear in the UVEditor window, See attached pic for a better idea…

…So I can place it on the model just to give a simulated look, not real time…as a baked texture as it were.
