Baking node material into a texture - how?

I created a node material which results in a mix of 3 textures via 2 mask textures. The output looks fine when rendered, but I need to bake that node material into 1 texture. How do I do that? Simply render bake texture produces one of the textures I am using for a mix.

Or how about baking blended textures, which were blended via vertex colors, into a single texture?

You need to use baking mode full render.

Ouch. But I don’t need anything else, just textures.

I would recommend turning the material to ‘shadeless’, then baking.
