Baking Normal Map Issues?

Hey guys, I’m hoping I could get some insight with an issue I’m having baking a normal map. I’m working on this model of a shark and I’ve baked my sculpted detail into a normal map. Only issue is the normal map is showing weird distortions on my model in material and rendered view. Is this a limitation of blender or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance, Malcolm.

Difficult to say without a .blend, but try baking the normal map as a 32-bit texture.
