Hi there guys,
So I’ve been trying to bake normals and ao’s for a little while for a hand model just to get an idea of normal mapping in Blender. I used sculptris to sculpt details of a hand modeled in blender. The problem is everytime I go into bake I get the error “No objects or images found to bake”
Thanks for any help

In your screenshot it appears you only have the one object selected
You need to select both the low and high res models so you bake the difference between them.
They also need to be in the same location
The low res model needs to be the active one, needs to be UV unwrapped and have an image file selected in the image editor window
I have the low-poly hand unwrapped, Exported the uv layout and opened it in the image editor. I have both hands on top of each other, and still get the message, also the image editor seems to reset and go back to the original default blank screen…
Here’s another screen shot after I load the uv layout image.
Select low poly in edit mode (better delete any material you might have on it). Open New image in UV editor. UV unwrap selected before low poly in 3deditor window. It should appear on black background now in UV editor. Switch to Object mode, select high poly, then shift- select low poly (it’s easy to select in Outliner window). Bake.
Thanks, I didn’t realize I had to make the UV’s as a new image in the image editor. thanks a lot, got my Normals!
