I’m trying to bake a shadow map for a landscape to use in the GE, but the shadow map only shows up white when I try to bake it. I’m using a spot lamp to cast the shadows (set to ‘shadow only’), and I’m using the default bake settings. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, or if this is a bug with 2.58. Any suggestions?
Do you have UV map and texture to bake to?
Yep, it’s already unwrapped, and I made (and saved) a new image for the shadow map.
You should attach your blend file so other users can see what actually is happening (or not happening).
I hate to bump this, but can someone try to figure this out? I’m gonna need to bake shadows for a game project soon.
Man I had a hard time with the interface so I appended the landscape in to clean 2.58. And there it is. Shadow map is right there. You have it.
