Baking texture from model to model

Hi guys,

I had to register to the forums because I have a burning question that I haven’t been able to solve

I need to bake lightning information and texture from a model to another model. They have exactly same shape but different UVs. I’ve researched internet and also checkout the Blender Inside out tutorial dvd. All the tutorials say that I first need to select the model I want to bake from and then select the model I want to bake to. Then go to edit mode, select the UVs, create new image and bake with “selected to active” enabled. Problem is that Blender only bakes the lightning information for active model but totally ignores the other model and its texture. What might be the problem? Is there something special that I need to do with the materials?
