Baking to multiple objs

I have several objects that share a texture, but should remain separate objects. Is it possible to bake the normals of several hi-res objects to several low-res objects?

This collective baking method is typically used for AO. You know, when numbers of objects are sitting together, AO forms between them. You need to bake the whole thing for that case.

Normal map is different. Each normal map is independent of other. Why do you need to bake them together?

Honestly I don’t know, but what I do know is separate images can be combined into 1 image. :smiley:
