Watched Sintel again yesterday and wondered what it would take to make a couple bamboo stalks. It ended up being fairly easy to do, so I made this quick desktop background with it. Enjoy!
nice! i think the vignette could be more blurry, and maybe a little darker. also the bamboo could be more random, i mean they’re all sticking straight up. maybe they could be tilted a bit? and i think there should be more bamboo in the back ground, maybe where you can’t even see the background.
and did you use reference images for the bamboo?(like this http://thegreen… and this http://vistawal….) i mean the bamboo doesn’t look horrible but it could use a little work. non’t get me wrong though i don’t mean to tear this image down, it’s a great image! :yes:
